Project Description
The Mugurusi Apartment Building was a freelance project focused on designing rental apartments in Uganda, executed entirely remotely due to the geographical constraints. The site presented a unique trapezoidal shape, which posed a significant design challenge.
The primary goal was to create functional and appealing two-bedroom apartments suitable for rental purposes. The design aimed to maximize the use of space while addressing the irregular site shape. Through thoughtful planning, we ensured that each apartment offered a comfortable living environment, catering to the needs of potential tenants.
As part of the project, I developed detailed construction working drawings and 3D renders for the clients, allowing them to visualize the Mugurusi Apartment Building project and facilitating the construction process. This project exemplified the ability to adapt and innovate in response to site-specific challenges while maintaining a focus on functionality and tenant comfort.
I created the first-floor plan for the Mugurusi Apartment Building, detailing the layout and functionality of the two-bedroom apartments.
